My Website Refresh

A New Perspective

I recently rebuilt my personal website from the ground up. After years of tweaking the same template, I wanted something that felt like me again — minimal, fast, and text-first.

The old site had grown cluttered. Every redesign added another widget, another animation, another thing to maintain. This time I stripped everything back to what actually matters: the writing.

What Changed

  • Removed every dependency that wasn't strictly necessary
  • Switched to a plain typographic scale
  • Moved all posts into simple content files

The best personal website is the one you actually keep writing on.

I'm happy with where it landed. It loads instantly, it's easy to update, and most importantly it makes me want to write more.
